It’s gonna be a wonderful camp. Time to open my heart to the word of God and grow further spiritually :) Back to basic! A camp I don’t have to be part of organizing. Haha. Laters!

O Christmas tree

It’s Christmas Eve.

I remember the rush of the last minute shopping. Going from store to store to see what suits who best. What would who want or like. And what wouldn’t burn a deep hole in our wallets. The malls flooded with people going in and out. The stores crowded with no ample space left. Without noticing, it’s that time of the year again.

But hey, Christmas ain’t about shopping, receiving gifts, a big green bush or that big o man named Santa. It’s about something or rather someone much more important. Christmas is special for Christians. The word Christ can be pulled out of both words. And Jesus Christ is who I’m referring about. It’s the day that Jesus was born. WHO’S JESUS CHRIST? He’s the most pure and holy man that ever walked on earth who died for all our sins. He’s the Son Of God.

All Christians will remember the 25th of December so dearly in our hearts. With thanksgiving. For no one can repay Jesus for what He has done for us. Lets not stray from what the whole meaning of Christmas is about.

Merry Christmas everyone!

:)

On another note,

Happy Birthday Daddy!

You’re only the most caring, kind and lovable father in the whole wide world. Thank you for everything. Love you! :D

Today marks the last day of work for me. The manager threw a small farewell party for me. Which was really sweet! He bought 4 boxes of pizza, a cake, drinks and gave me a gift! I don’t think he did that for the other colleagues before. As far as I know he bought only donuts for the last guy who left. I felt so sad when he had his sort of speech. Until the other colleagues egged me from behind. No wonder my manager made me move to the other seat so I couldn’t see them sneaking behind. I also got drenched head to toe with water while I was taking my revenge.

Working made me changed my perspective on certain things in so many ways. One thing for sure, I’ll never look at waitressing as such an underprivelleged job again. You know how most of us don’t take the jobs as waiter and waitresses seriously. Noone ever says “When I grow up, I wanna be a waitress/ waiter.” I’m not prompting that I’ll consider it as a career option in the future but I think that occupation deserves more respect than it should because it really isn’t an easy job.

Working also pushed me to in a way become more responsible and to handle situations quickly and correctly. Especially since my manager loves to just go and have a walk or run some errands and leave me (mind you I’m only sixteen) to take care of the whole outlet. EVERYTHING. Any customer complaints, any letters to sign, any orders to give. Really that much responsibility. I’m the youngest in the place but I felt like the oldest. Older than Uncle Albert who’s like over 60 already. HAHA.

I managed to learn a few things about different human characters too. Some customers are so nice that they engage in conversation with you. Even for myself I just order my food to the waiter/ waitress and that’s about it. While some customers can be really very so picky and might complain even for the most ridiculous reasons. Handling it must be done really well. The real world is a hard place to mess you might say.

And I think I was seriously underpaid. The busy hours can really drain the life out of you. Especially that my outlet is small but constantly packed. I don’t get how can people stand eating Japanese food all the time. Some of the customers come like 4 times a week or so. And I could already memorize what certain customers are going to order.

Now I can’t eat at a restaurant the same way again. I’ll always be observing the waiter and waitresses. How they treat their customers and make some comparisons. It’s different how it works from place to place. And I could honestly say I really enjoyed myself working. It wasn’t a bad place to work at. I had wonderful colleagues that I didn’t know that the simple that human can be, they’re just so ordinary and they just want to be happy. They got their whole life straightened out. They’re really so fun to work with. Making me laugh everyday. I managed to learn some Nepali language from some of them. Who knows one day I might end up in Nepal for missions. It might be the reason why I ended up working.

Really going to miss every single one from work and working itself. But finally I can have a REAL holiday. Actually not really also, I’m packed with so many things to do. Till then. Laters! :)

Mama mia

I’ve seen 16th years. And you never left my side. The love and affection you bring, the joy and laughter you made. The food you put on my table. The way how home just feels like home. The times you’d distract me from “STUDYING” and come to my room and talk to me for hours. Our so called shopping moments.  I cherish them with all my heart.  Thank you mum. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :) You’re still young! Haha.

We Speak To Nations

Had Asia Pacific Youth Alive Conference from the 10th to the 12th. Around 1500 people attended and 29 nations were represented. It was really great to meet so many people from around the world. Pretty nice learning different languages, which I forgotten most of what I’ve learned already. Anyhow, truly a great experience. Here are some random photos that were taken with my camera. Gotta grab from other friends too. Oh well.

Jawbreaker

To the fact that I still have readers effortlessly viewing my blog, I have to thank each and everyone of you.

It must be such a pain seeing the same post over and over again every time you click my name in your links or search it up on the web. Haha. I know I have been MIA for some time. I hardly have the time or anything interesting to blog about. Mostly caught up with work OD.

I’ll come up with something productive soon. I think. Till then, CHEERS!

Work’s been great. My colleagues are one of the most interesting bunch around and they seriously can make you smile from ear to ear eventhough you have something to feel bad about. If only the holidays would be really long so that I can continue. Cause I’ll be really sad when I leave. Sigh. On the other hand I’m so underpaid. This company gets so much a year and this is how you pay your employees? Ish ish ish.
