This aching heart ain’t broken

It’s one of the biggest festive season in the year. And with a one week holiday granted, everybody couldn’t ask for more. And what else when the first day of  Chinese New Year itself is in conjunction with Valentines which is either the most Romantic day of the year or the most Lonely day of the year. But anyhow, I’m not in to dwell on the whole Valentines issue. It’s a waste of time really :) it can only be special if you have someone special to share it with right? So if you don’t, why bother!

Anyhow annually, CNY never excited me fully or bore me to death either. It’s the usual greet and meet relatives who you never knew their names and ask you the same “What you doing now? How’s school? Got girl / boyfriend or not?” kind of questions and on the contrary the bond and intimacy with close relatives. CNY for me this year brought me to alot of thinking. How a festival that is meant to bring families together and have a good time made me realize how empty it is when we can’t share it with the same people anymore. How empty it feels, when we’ll never get to spend time with them again. How empty it feels, not being able to eat with them again. How empty it is, when I can’t look at them and say Happy Chinese New Year like I always had. How empty it is, to never see them again. What a bitter new year eyh?

One thing I love about CNY is the food though ;P GAHH, sore throat.

So, I choose not to dwell in this sadness. Must occupy myself with things.

Now here’s someone true to his feelings. He dropped Biology but he was friggin excited to dissect.

Finally, the evil among evils.

Not only did he physically abuse the mouse, HE CUT THE EARS OUT. THE EARS!! Like leave the poor mouse’s ears alone la weyh!! I literally yelled at him -.- Anyway, at least we didn’t cut the head off :)

Now honestly the photos look scarier and meaner than real life. Okay I had feelings laaa, I was really sad to end it’s life. That pitiful harmless (okay not so harmless) and helpless animal. Well crying at the corner with the other girls won’t do me much good anyway. So breathe it in and there I go! It was pretty interesting actually ;P

Ah biggest apologies to everyone for being absent for so long. Not just absent, I basically evaporated. Excess water so I had to undergo transpiration =) Haha lame. ANYWAY, been really really occupied with things and all I can say is FORM 5 is hectic! Okay I can’t be fair to say everyone has a hectic Form 5 but my oh my, I just have things events and meetings one after another. but I can’t be happier for having each and everyone of it. I dont know why yesterday had a random increase in views. You the graph thing in your blog? Suddenly mine shoot real HIGH and today it’s low again. HAHA. It’s amazing to have over 30 views yesterday okay since my blog has practically been dead for the weeks. I’ll be back with more updates and pictures. Hopefully this time it’ll come to pass :)
